NEW YEAR’S FANTABULOSO FIESTA

Want to do something different for New Year’s Eve?  Who doesn’t?  If you’re staying home, why not have a NEW YEAR’S EVE FIESTA for family and friends.  Beat that piñata to a pulp; shake those maracas; do the Mexican hat dance. Mucho grande good time!  We promise.

DIRECTIONS

Invitations

Print your own fiesta invitation.  These come with glitter add-ons and/or you can add “fiesta” confetti.  

The Approach

• Hang a fiesta banner outside (waterproof!) wishing all Happy New Year.
• Put a fiesta lawn balloon on either side of your door.

First Impression Decor

•  Outline your door with Chili Pepper Lights.
• Hang fiesta lantern garland with pepper pulls from your ceiling to match!
• Set up a Mariachi Band Scene Setter (a lot cheaper than the real thing!) or any of our scenes or borders in your foyer to greet your guests.
• Add an inflatable cactus or two to the side (set one up higher than the other)  
• Greet everyone with a 2008 LED Pin (and a hug!)…

Tabletop

• Place a sombrero center table as your centerpiece and if ceiling height allows, add hot pepper Mylar balloons mixed with yellow and orange latex!  Fill the rim of the sombrero with taco chips and it doubles as a serving platter!
• For a different napkin, use a fiesta or Mexican bandana!
• Use a chili pepper bracelet as a napkin ring and a favor.
• Scatter fiesta confetti around the table.
• Put maracas at each place (there are neon maracas, painted maracas, even light-up maracas) because a fiesta without maracas is like a fiesta without margaritas.
• Fill neon glow margarita cups with red, orange, green and yellow M&Ms.

Buffets & Bars

• Light the bar with sombrero lights mixed with fiesta tinsel garland.
• Add a light up wedge of lime or light up ice cube to each drink.
• Put nuts on bar in the neon glow margarita glasses.

Entertainment

• Keek the mood with a Fiesta CD. 
• Fiesta GAMES

Come Midnight

• Pull out a bull piñata or a sombrero piñata with our blindfold and bat—and stand back.
• Fill the piñata with toys and candy or something appropriate for your group.  Let your imagination run wild!
• Pass out margaritas for a midnight toast in blinking margarita glasses and tell everyone to get their maracas and horns ready to welcome the New Year!

• Blinking fiesta beads to take home. 
• 2008 Multiprism Glasses for great photos and a great piece of memorabilia.
